The Stand which is a post-apocalyptic horror/fantasy novel by American author Stephen King was going to be turned into a movie in the 80s but they couldn't overcome a few technical difficulties. Now Warner Brothers is bringing the book to the big screen and it is reported that 'Harry Potter's' David Yates and writer Steve Kloves will be involved.
